Comfort Fit Wedding Bands Illustrations
Here at Timeless Wedding Bands we strive to help you find the perfect ring that you will be happy to wear for the rest of your life. One of the less discussed aspects of a wedding band is how it is designed on the inside of the ring where it actually touches your finger, the fit. Below we discuss the different types of fit that a ring may have and how they will feel on the finger. If you have any questions not covered on this page, our staff is available to answer your questions during business hours at (844) 226-8800 or by email at info@timelessweddingbands.com
Standard FitA standard fit band has a flat inside section that lays on your finger. At times when you clench your hand shut, that edge can be uncomfortable. That flat section also rubs against your skin more, and may force you to get a larger ring size than you need, especially when going over large knuckles. For these reasons, we do not carry standard fit wedding bands. |

Comfort FitA comfort fit band has the edges lifted from your finger, only the center of the inside section of the band touches your finger. The feel is like wearing a much narrower ring, and is very comfortable. Because of the extra thickness needed to achieve this comfort the bands contain more gold. |

Heavy Comfort FitA heavy comfort fit band will be even more rounded and have the edges lifted even more, these bands can be made in some of the styles, but are available in our classic collection, and can be custom made in any thickness. At Timeless Wedding Bands we carry two options for heavy comfort fit: Premium (app 1.8mm thick) and Prestige (app 2mm thick)

Flat Comfort FitNow all the above examples have been about bands that had a dome top design , the same comfort fit options can be found in flat top designs as well, in other words the top design of the ring does not affect the comfort of your ring. |
